My name is Jiwanshu, and I’m a dedicated Computer Science and Information Technology specialist with 5+ years of self-taught and executed experience in various programming languages and operating systems, combined with a unique blend of proven sales and technical support experience. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network, application, and technical issues in a concise, reproducible, and timely manner. What experience do you have?
- Cable Technician/IT Specialist at SafeCo Risk Control Inc. Aug 2025 – Present
- Installed and configured network infrastructure, including Cat-6 cabling and patch panels, to ensure interconnectivity between all rooms and devices to a central hub.
- Managed successful termination and implementation of Cat-6 throughout the rooms, managing wire positioning to ensure all wires remained out of sight and invisible to not distract from room design.
- Managed the installation and positioning of wireless Cisco Meraki APs to ensure optimal WLAN connectivity in all rooms.
- Tested all crimps and connectors to ensure no loss in data transfer between rooms or devices, ensuring no infrastructure or networking issues.

This part is a bit unconventional to add to a list of experiences, but I feel it is needed, as it shows a prior love and dedication to the world of hardware and systems administration, which was allowed to nurture and grow under the tutelage of a teacher who loved what he did.
- Student at Piscataway Magnet School Sept 2017 – June 2021
- Managed network and server infrastructure for high school shop class, ensuring no downtime and peak performance at all times while allowing for proper connectivity to domain controller and school network.
- Created and configured a network switch VLAN and network configuration with Cisco IOS to ensure optimal routes and connectivity while evading risk of connection interruption and cross-talk by isolating devices onto different VLANs.
- Installed and configured Active Directory on Windows Server 2016 (and formerly 2008) for the classroom computers, as well as created and installed Group Policy rules to restrict account permissions to ensure proper computer privileges to students, as well as logon policies and applications for each grade level.
- Configured a network image of Windows and deployed a standardized image to all computers, ensuring a similar look and feel while ensuring uniformity and a quick resolution to catastrophic errors.
- Built and configured PCs and networks in class.
- Managed Audio/Visual components and switches to ensure audio routing and video from a central instructor computer to TVs stationed around the classroom, as well as drive display TVs outside of the classroom to advertise our class.
- Assisted our teacher with formulating lesson plans, as well as served as his assistant to teach other students what to do, how to do it, and how to work optimally with high accuracy.
